Exceeding Environmental Standards

Proud to Surpass the Latest Environmental Standards

Our responsibility for the environment is very important to us. We rely on innovative technologies and are proud to exceed some of the latest environmental standards.

Sustainable Innovations at Giberg

Gibeerg is characterized by a strong commitment that is not limited to its core business. For example, when expanding our premises, we decided to exceed the applicable ecological standards. Among other things, our company building has solar panels, heat pumps that heat the water using the exhaust air from the furnaces and a filter press system for gypsum that is unique in the industry.

Certified Sustainable Practices

We attach great importance to socially and environmentally responsible business practices in connection with precious metals. That is why we are a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), a non-profit organization that promotes and certifies sustainable process technologies.

After successfully completing the certification process for the RJC's Code of Practices (COP) certificate in 2018, we have also complied with the RJC's Chain of Custody (CoC) standard since 2020. With the COP standard, we are committed to ethical, human rights-compliant and socially and environmentally responsible practices in the production of our castings. With the CoC standard, we also ensure that the gold alloys we use can be fully traced back to their place of origin. We also guarantee the responsible production and processing of the materials we use.
